Prom

One word that causes so much drama. You may be wondering why I am hesitant to go to prom. Maybe it's only Lilia who doesn't understand me. First off, there's the cost. Fifty for the ticket, at least two hundred for the dress, I don't know about the shoes because it really depends, and hair/makeup/nails. The common question is if it's worth it. I've asked my senior friends from commercial design class, and while they had fun, and they would do the same thing again (obvs. senior prom), they didn't really seem like they thought it was the best night of their lives. Second, I'm dateless. Yes. 16 and single. Can you imagine? We all are, so no problem there. I'd just go with mis amigas mejores. But there is something to be said about not having a date. It's a little sad. I'm not talking about my-aunt-just-died sad, but oh-mom-did-you-go-to-prom-yea-who-took-you-my-friends sad. However, it's better than saying you didn't go to prom. Third, I would go next year. What's the big deal with junior prom anyway. You don't have much to celebrate. You're still stuck in the same lame-o high school for another year while you scribble meaningless college essays and rot in English class.
Anyway, while I'm mulling over my decision, I decided to look at dresses and these are my top picks. Feedback welcome.

p.s. The top two are the same dress -front and back- but it has an awkward little train...
